Traditional Surrogacy - using the surrogate's egg and either the intended father's sperm or donor sperm. This is done through artificial insemination.
Gestational Surrogacy - using the intended parent's egg and sperm. The surrogate is not genetically related to the child.
Gestational Surrogacy with Donor Egg or Donor Sperm or Both - using an egg and sperm donor so that the surrogate is not genetically related to the child. Note, in India, one parent must be genetically related to the child. Working with two donors is only an option in the United States.
